MEDIA TEAM CHANGE

In a slight change to our usual photographers and still pictures , we felt this year we would try proper film footage of the event and hopefully capture those moments of action from start to finish. So we have enlisted the help of three enthusiastic film makers, all currently studying at Brighton University.  The footage will be available after the Challenge should you want to download . We introduce to you the 3 Amigos, give them a warm welcome and if you do see the camera pointing at you give them a wave and a smile, and maybe buy them a beer, they’re doing this for free!

Here’s a little about them.

Harvey Howe – (Centre of Photo) Director/Producer/Camera Operator

Hi, my name is Harvey and i am currently nearing the end of my first year at Brighton Screen and Film School. I have really enjoyed it so far and i am so grateful to have met Mick and for this opportunity. Hopefully, after uni, i would like to be either an assistant director or producer as i really enjoy the organisation side of the film industry. Outside of uni, i enjoy going to the cinema and am currently a Sussex county FA referee. 

Thomas McCallum – (Right of Photo) Camera Operator/Editor

My name is Thomas McCallum, i’m doing my first year at the Brighton film school. Ideally, I would like to go on to do directing, screenwriting and editing. Outside of Uni, I enjoy watching movies, writing, and editing my own videos.

Ashton McDermott – (Left of Photo) Camera Operator

My name is Ash, i’m first year at Screen and Film School Brighton, studying film-making. I would like to specialise in sound design or screenwriting in the future. My hobbies include of, socialising with friends, listening to music and watching films.
