2026 UKFSC Update
Excitement is already building for UKFSC 2026, and we’re thrilled to be gearing up for another unforgettable year on and off the water. If you haven’t yet confirmed your place, now is the perfect moment—teams eager to compete are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their spot on the start line. Enter here!
A special note to last year’s trophy winners: your silverware is waiting to be reclaimed! If you took home a trophy in 2025, we’d love to see you back to defend your title. Please remember to have your trophy engraved before returning it at this year’s event.
What’s Included in Your Entry
Your entry fee covers all evening meals, entertainment, marina fees, and a personalised team polo shirt, just as it did last year. And with preparations well underway, we’re delighted to share more about what you can look forward to.
Following last year’s success, we will once again be based at Cowes Yacht Haven for the duration of the event.
After the all‑important practice day, we will be hosting the Opening Ceremony at the prestigious Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) where you’ll receive a warm welcome, enjoy a delicious evening meal and have the chance to meet your fellow skippers and competitors.
Day Two brings four races followed by a lively social at the Island Yacht Club, where the team will be serving a fantastic BBQ. You’ll have the chance to unwind with your fellow competitors while enjoying live music from Milo. And of course, we’ll round off the evening with the prize giving for the first day’s racing.
Day Three features another four races, followed by the much‑anticipated Gala Dinner, guest speaker, and prize giving at Cowes Yacht Haven—a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the day’s achievements.
Finally, Day Four concludes with the passage race in a pursuit format, after which teams begin their journey home for a well‑earned rest.
All of this—and more—is included in your entry fee, so please get entered and ensure your balance is paid by 1700 on 01 March 2026.
Yachts & Charter Options
Teams chartering with Sunsail and Fairview are encouraged to book early to secure their preferred yacht.
Sunsail yachts—traditionally part of the Spinnaker fleet—can now also race in the White Sails fleet, thanks to the introduction of the RYA YTC rating last year. This is ideal for crews who prefer not to sail with a spinnaker. With space for up to 10 crew, Sunsail boats remain a great option for larger teams.
Topsail – Insurance Discount
Teams requiring additional waiver insurance can access an exclusive 10% discount on Topsail Insurance policies using the code UKFSC10.
Visit topsailinsurance.com and enter UKFSC10 at checkout to redeem the offer.
Bringing Your Own Boat
Teams are welcome to charter a yacht or bring their own. If you plan to race your own boat, please contact the committee for approval. Full details can be found in the Notice of Race.
We can’t wait to welcome you back for another year of competitive racing, great company, and unforgettable memories. Any questions or comments please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@ukfsc.org.uk
With best wishes
