Christmas Wishes

As another year closes, our plans for next year’s Challenge are well under way. The committee has now had two meetings and putting in place the itinerary for our 16th Challenge.

We opened the entry system at this year’s Emergency Services Show and the entries since then have come in steadily, so much so, that all 27 of the Sunsail fleet had been chartered by the end of November . At our 2nd meeting we decided that we would reserve 8 more yachts from Fairview Sailing to bring the fleet to 35. We have now had bookings for all the additional boats and so this is the first time that the event has been running that all Yachts are gone by Christmas!!  Unbelievable.

Those of you at last year’s event will know that I had made noises about handing over the Chair , however, you are stuck with me for another year and so, I and the committee would like to wish all our competitors and support crew a very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2019.

I look forward to seeing you all in Port Solent in May for an even bigger Challenge. Keep viewing the website and our social media for updates on the event over the coming months.
