The 2017 UKFSC is upon us.

Twenty nine boats are entered and twenty four were out on the water today training!! It’s going to be a competitive event.

Opening night is tonight at Port Solent followed by three days sailing and two nights in Cowes.

We are hoping to ‘live stream’ from the water and shoreside via Facebook live and the racing is being covered by drone, footage from this will be available via a link which will be posted on Facebook and twitter.

Race results will be posted as soon as we have them, again on Facebook and Twitter so you can follow your crew’s progress.

Photos of the event will be uploaded and a link will be put on our social media after the conclusion on Thursday.

A big thank you to all who make the event possible, sponsors and supporters, we really appreciate all that you do for us.

Good luck to all competing this week.

Stay safe and see you on the water.

  1. Cowes RNLI lifeboat took an injured crewman ashore yesterday (Wednesday). If you provide me with an email address I will send you the press release I did for the station.
